What would happen to someone who piloted a blue, cube shaped space ship into a black hole as observed by the pilot and as observed by someone far from the black hole? I think it has to do with red shifts and blue shifts but not sure.

Answer #1

And when moving towards a massive body, the wavelength gets compressed with the result it shifts towards the blue end of the spectrum. When light is moving away from a massive galaxy, the wavelength stretches with the result it shifts towards the red of the spectrum.

therefore,

for the someone who is observing it looks like blue and more dark blue as going towards a massive body "black hole".

for the pilot , it's vice versa,i.e the red shift phenomennon is experienced.(though it is blue)

In case of any doubt, please do comment sir.

What advantage would it convey to your children if you mated with someone who had different alleles for the HLA genes than you do? Why is it possible that we might be able to use our sense of smell to determine whether a potential mate has similar or different HLA alleles from us?

So I need someone who already knows what should happen with this to just confirm or not if my data is faulty. So in a lab I had two air gliders on a frictionless, level track, one was stationary with a rubberband elastic contraption on the back of it where a moving glider would collide into it. For the part I'm iffy on, the mass of the stationary glider (0.2012kg) and the moving glider(0.3895) were kept constant while the initial...

The Krebs cycle is a circle. What do you think would happen if you removed one of the compounds from that circle to make an amino acid (this does happen, Alpha-ketogluterate is the basic building block for many amino acids)? The cell has a variety of other pathways that can make oxaloacetate (the final 4 carbon product in the krebs cycle) from other molecules in the cell. Why might these alternative pathways be important?

Simple Dominance with 2 genes A gene in cats causes them to be black (dominant) or brown (recessive). A second gene causes cats to be agouti (have stripes on their hairs) or non-agouti (solid colored hairs). If you did a dihybrid cross between two black haired agouti cats, what fraction of the offspring would be expected to have each phenotype? If a dihybrid black agouti cat mated with a brown cat that was heterozygous for the agouti gene, what fraction...

Black-headed Gulls Niko Tinbergen (1907-1988) was a Swedish Ethologist (animal behaviorist) famous for studying animals in their native habitats. One of his classic experiments involved a bird called the black-headed gull (Larus ridibundus). Black-headed gulls build nests of twigs on the ground and lay light brown eggs with dark brown spots. However, the inside of the egg is white in color. Tinbergen noticed that adult gulls pick up the eggshells shortly after a chick has hatched and fly them to...
