An LED, taken as a point source is attached at the lower surface of a glass plate of 10cm thickness. The plate is kept in a water tank; height of water above the glass plate is 20cm. On top of this, 5cm thick layer of oil of refractive index 1.48 is poured. Calculate the radius of the illuminated area on the surface of the oil. When viewed vertical down, how deep of the LED would appear?
