Can anyone explain to me what the difference between a real and a virtual image is?, I'm no exactly sure. Any drawings or pictures would be greatly!

If you see the above diagram you will be seeing from the left side of the mirror so what ever is on the right side you can't see it.

Now coming to imaging when you draw all the reflecting rays of the object from the mirror if they conicide at to your side (in the above digaram it is left ) then it is called real image and if rays concide on the other side and form image on the other side of the image which you we can't see (in second diagram image falls on the right side) this images are called virtual images.

This is a virtual image.
