A positive ion is accelerated from a source S by a potential difference of 1000 V. The charge on the ion is equal to the magnitude of charge on an electron. After acceleration, the ion enters inside a uniform magnetic field of strength 75 mT, perpendicularly. The ion moves in a circle of diameter x. Find the value of x in cm.[6]

Mass of the ion is 4.2´10-25 kg.
