You have two forces on a force table F1 and F2. They are equal in mass at 50g and each force has a hanger that weighs 5.5g. The first force is hung at is 30 degrees, the second force is hung at 170 degrees. Determine the magnitude and angle of a third force to balance the ring in the center of the force plate. Two forces F1 and F2 act on an object. Each force is specified as an ordered pair: its magnitude in Newtons and an angle measured in degrees counter-clockwise from the positive x-axis. Let F1 = (27.0 N, ∠115° )and F2 = (83.0 N, ∠240° ). Calculate the magnitude the vector F1 - F2. Include three significant figures in your answer. In the vector addition experiment, of a force table, we have two forces F1 = 350 N and F2 located at 0 ° and 90 ° respectively, the balancing force was found with a magnitude of Fequil = 800N. Find R, F2 and the angle Ѳ ° (angle of the resulting force) through the analytical method.

A force table applies three forces to a ring in the center of the table. When the forces are balanced, the ring is stationary in the center of the table. The net force equation F1+F2+F3=Fnet becomes F1+F2+F3=0 since a stationary object has no net force acting on it. This equation is true for the cartesian components as well: F1x+F2x+F3x=0 F1y+F2y+F3y=0 For each of the three problems below, calculate the force F3 that balances the table with the given F1 and...

Four forces are acting on a point mass located at the origin of a two-dimensional cartesian coordinate system. The first force has a magnitude of 10.0 N and makes a 30° angle with the positive x-axis. The second force has a magnitude of 15.0 N and makes a 135° angle with the positive x-axis. The third force has a magnitude of 20.0 N and makes an angle of 240° with the positive x-axis. The fourth force has a magnitude of...

(PLEASE COMPLETE ALL PARTS OF THE QUESTION) A uniform thin rod of mass m = 2.9 kg and length L = 1.9 m can rotate about an axle through its center. Four forces are acting on it as shown in the figure. Their magnitudes are F1 = 5.5 N, F2 = 2.5 N, F3 = 11 N and F4 = 19.5 N. F2 acts a distance d = 0.23 m from the center of mass. A) Calculate the magnitude τ1...

A laboratory on the concept of static equilibrium uses an apparatus called a force table. The force table consists of a round, level platform marked in degree increments about its circumference. In the center of the table sits a massless ring, to which three strings are tied. Each string is strung over a separate pulley clamped to the edge of the platform, and then tied to a freely-hanging mass, so that each string is under tension and the ring is...
