Perform some research to find an important mathematician or scientist whose work you find especially interesting or important. Discuss briefly why their discoveries are important for us today. Can you find any particular analytical trait that would be advantageous for us to have?
Nikola Tesla is one such scientist whose methods and discoveries have personally held me in awe and one of his most important discovery is the alternating current. It revolutionized the concept of electricity transmission across the world. Power could then be transmitted over large distances without significant losses and had more applications than its precursor direct current.
Another of his discovery is the remote control of vehicles and similar mobility structures using radio waves.
Tesla could actually visualize whatever invention he was working on before even the final form, this probably led him to run simulations like the kind we run today on our computers. This is definitely a trait that would be advantageous to have.
