It is a good question. Often we face this type of problem. When we calculate a value from graph, we take slope of the graph and calculate the value. But in measurements related to the graph we always choose the smallest division of X axis and smallest division of y axis. Results depend on this smallest division. If you take a smallest division, that is the dimension of the small square in the graph, which can measure the value up to one decimal place then here the mass will be always zero.

You have to take a smallest division such that it can measure a value up to 3 decimal place . Then you will get the value of mass nearly equal to 0.002kg.

That is you have to zoom the curve more by this method. Then you will see the small differences.
