how a shadow is formed? does shadow has a shadow?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

Shadows are formed when a opaque object comes infront of a light source and light rays can't pass through object making darker spot behind the object this darker shot is called shadow of object.

Shadow can't make shadow because they are generated by solid objects on the surface of another object so shadow is always a surface phenomenon. therefore if shadow were to make a shadow there is nothing to make shadow on also shadow is not solid object thus shadow can't make shadow .
