If a charged particle enter into a magnetic field it experience a force only when the , component of velocity should be perpendicular to the direction of magnetic field, otherwise it will not experience any force and pass through the magnetic field as undeflected.

In these conditions , magnetic field is along south , therefore when the alpha particle enter into the field along the north or South direction (parallel or antiparallel) will not experience force .

Hence the answer is north and south.
