a time traveler found himself at the top of 78 meter cliff being chased by dinosaurs. He remembered to bring his jetpack which will cause him to accelerate at a rate of 9/m/s/s in a direction 82 degrees from the horizontal (gravity is already compensated for in this acceleration). Our hero runs of the edge of the plateau at a speed of 7 m/s and turns on his jetpack which regrettably only has 12 seconds of fuel. Thankfully his future self was able to compute where he was going to land, and arrive at just the right time and place to save himself. Where, relative to the base of the cliff, and when. relative to the moment he jumped off the edge, did he appear to save the day?
