Integration is one of the mathematical concepts in algebra, which is inverse to the differentiation

It is used in many places like finding area, volume or we can describe the area and volume by using integral.

For example, consider a water tank if we know the rate of flow of water(function) simply we can integrate the function over the limit (height) to find the volume of the water.

consider the graph of a function f(x) by integrating the function we can find the area under the graph

this integration gives the value under the graph.

In another view, integration is very similar to summation.

The summation is mostly preferred in discrete data points.

the integration is preferred where we have continuous data.
