On a playground three children sit on a 16 foot long see-saw, which is balanced at the center, 8 feet from either end. An 80 lb child sits 4 feet from the center on one side, a larger 100 lb child sits six feet from the center on the other side. Can a 40 lb child balance the see-saw? If so, where should the third child sit?
