I have a cube 10 cm on a side. It floats in water with 40% of its volume above water. What is the density of the cube? Show your work.

Volume of cube =; = 1000

Volume of Displacement of water = 40% of 1000= 400

For floating,

Buoyant force = weight of cube

= 400
