2) Two
masses are fixed to either end of a rigid meter stick which is balanced, horizontally, on a fulcrum at its middle.

(A) What is the initial angular acceleration if the stick is massless and the Left Mass is 3 times the Right Mass. (ML = 3MR)?

(B) What is the initial angular acceleration if the Left & Right masses are the same but the stick’s mass is a tenth of the Right mass (MS = 0.1MR)?

(C) Taking the answer from part B, express the angular acceleration as a function of the angle from horizontal, 0 (supposed to be theta)
