it's like standing on a flat plain which is covered by a spherical dome and the horizon meets at the perimeter of the sphere and I'm standing at the centre of the sphere but actually it's a very little part of a giant spherical shell of atmosphere which made the light rays to difract in such a way to look like this, the aperture of a normal human eye is very little in comparison with the dimension of earth that's why it seems spherical centred on you
