what would be a good definition of Pressure in terms of gas particles and wall collisions?
is there a relationship between temperature and pressure? if so what?
Pressure of Gas particles meaning:-
We all know Pressure is force exerted by the gas particles on the wall of the container. Force is the rate of change of momentum of the particles upon collision. The gas particles moves randomly in the container which is known as Brownian Motion. This is the definition of Pressure for gas particles.
Relationship between Temperature and Pressure:-
According to Joseph Gay-Lussac P is propotional to T, (here P= Pressure of the gas, T=Absolute Temperature of the gas) kepping the volume constant.
