After repairing her spaceship but before leaving the distant planet, our space pirate friend goes looking for valuable loot. She finds a mysterious device that generates an emf. She wants to characterize this device, but she only has an ammeter (which measures electric current) and two resistors. She connects her 9 Ω  resistor to the rock and determines that the device supplies a current of 1.2A . She then connects her 15 Ω resistor in parallel with the 9 Ω  resistor and measures a current of 1.9A  coming from the device.

Part A: What is the internal resistance of the device?

Part B: What is the emf of the device?
