Expressions and The Order of Operations

Can you think of a real-world "Nonnumeric" example for the order of operations? For example, if I bake a cake, it matters if I mix everything up and then put it in the oven or if I dump the box in the oven, cook it and then mix everything together.

A real world Non-numeric example of the order of operations would be- chores we do in the morning. I'll explain-

We wake up in the morning,go to washroom, brush our teeth, dress up and then go to college/office for work. Now if we were to change the order of these operations then we might have to brush our teeth at college/office and work directly after waking up, which is a completely absurd sequence. Hence the order of operations of non-numeric entities should be followed in the real world as well.

Can you think of an example of an opportunity cost associated with the COVID-19 pandemic? Are there trade-offs faced by households, individuals, businesses, or government officials due to the government handling of the pandemic? What might be some of the opportunity costs of a quarantine or stay-in-place order? Alternatively, what might be the opportunity cost of "opening up the economy"?

Can any real collision ever be truly perfectly elastic? Why or why not? (You should think about this in two ways: first consider what effects of the environment surrounding the collision might have on energy and momentum conservation; second, consider the objects themselves – how must an object react to a collision in order to be considered “perfect”?)

For this problem, you need to make up your own problem relating to angular momentum (you can use whichever form/definition of angular momentum you like). The problem should describe a real-world situation (in class, we did the problem of an instructor holding a couple of weights and spinning around on a stool, for example). Solve your problem, providing a numerical answer. (note: sorry for asking to make up a question, I hardly understand angular momentum as is and do not...

A real-world example: Google Stacy Abrams and just take a look at her Wikipedia page. During the 2018 election, she was running as the first African-American female candidate in Georgia. Her opponent, Brian Kemp, a staunch conservative and the Georgia Secretary of State essentially had control over the election in which he was a candidate. He had authority to sanction election results and implement any voting procedures he wanted. The election was too close to call, but Kemp ended up...
