A maintenance worker is clearing debris from railroad tracks located 2 km from the station. The train always sounds the whistle as it passes the station. He hears the locomotive whistle sound and notes that its pitch is 493.9 hz. He also knows that when it sounds as he rides on the locomotive its pitch is 440 hz. He concludes that the locomotive is traveling towards him. How much time does he have to get off the tracks? (let vsound= 343 m/s)
