Lab: Use an air cart with extra masses on a frictionless surface - choose a ramp angle and make sure it is balnacef.
How do I calculate the forces involced in this experiement.
Info I know: Angle of ramp is 10 degrees.
Mass of cart is 408.0 grams
Mass of hanging mass is 58.9 g

A cart of mass m1(pictured) is free to move nearly frictionless up a ramp at angle θ. A small mass m2 hangs from a string that runs over a pulley and connects to m1. We will determine the acceleration of the cart m1 over a known distance x,then plot the acceleration of m1 as a function of the hanging mass m2. a) The hanging mass will create a constant pulling force to accelerate the cart up the ramp. You are a medical consultant to a health technology company evaluating an inexpensive traction system for exerting a predictable force at the location of a patient’s leg injury. The device consists of a foot-strap connected to a weight by a rope that goes over a pulley. You are worried that the force exerted on the injury will change when the angle of the leg changes. As a first step in understanding the situation, you decide to model the portion of...

Two masses are connected to one another with a massless rope that passes over a massless and frictionless pulley as shown in the figure below. When the two mass system is released from rest, the hanging mass m2 = 31.5 kg accelerates upward at a rate of 2.3 m/s2. The coefficient of kinetic friction between m1 and the incline is 0.08, and the angle of inclination of the ramp is 57 degrees. For the entirety of this problem, air resistance...
