On a hill making angle a with the horizon, a rock is thrown from point A with the initial velocity v and making angle B with the horizon. At what distance from point A with the rock land?

As shown in the above figure the person is standing at point A and is throwing the rock at an angle B with horizontal direction.

the motion of the rock is a projectile

the horizontal distance travelled is called range

Range of a projectile is caluclate using the below formula.

Range of a projectile is given by R= (V^2 sin(2B) )/g ----- Horizontal distance travelled by rock from point A
