compare and contrast open, closed and isolated systems
In an open system both mass and energy can enter in the system and exit from the system.
That means both mass and energy interaction take place.
Example boiling of water in an open container.
In a closed system only energy interaction can take place but no mass can enter or exit from the system
Example heating of water in a closed container.
In a isolated system neither mass nor energy interaction can take place.
Example Fully insulated container like an ideal Thermos flask. (Actually this is an imaginary thing because nothing can be fully insulated)
