2) Is there any other way you can find the density of a material? If there is, give a brief discussion.

1. No. The volume of the solid can be determined by the displacement of the liquid. A solid is more dense than the liquid hence the volume of liquid displaced equate to the volume of the solid material.

2. Yes. Graduate cylinder and hydro meter technique is more accurate than the Archimedes method .

Graduate cylinder; This is more accurate and determine the object volume mostly of irregular objects. A graduate cylinder large enough to hold the both object and water . This is also can tell volume of liquid simply pouring into empty cylinder.

Hydrometer ; This is a specially device which is used to determine the density of liquid.
