The patented Acme CrateCannon is set up to launch our favorite crate full of fruit horizontally, off of a cliff. The crate starts from rest inside the cannon and experiences a launch force for 1.0 m, until it leaves the end of the cannon. The end of the cannon is positioned directly above the edge of the cliff. Once the crate leaves the cannon it will travel 10 m, measured from the base of the cliff along level ground before it impacts the Earth. The edge of the cliff is 8.2 m above level ground.

A) Determine the launch speed of the crate.

B) Determine the average force the cannon exerts on the crate, during the launch.
