what are all the specific activities i can do during my undergrads years at uni especially in Physics, things that will count towards my application in applying for top unis. for eg ive just finished my first year and got an internship and so far it's going well interms of the research and might be able to actually publish a paper. what are things that pros look for when looking at Msc applications
First of all, you should concentrate on your studies. Physics and Mathematics are the subjects of practice. And this practice should of solving examples by your own. If you are not able to solve some problems, then refer some books or ask teachers or friends how to solve. Solving problems develop two abilities, one is you get good insight about the theory and another is our approach become problem solving which makes you to think.
So my suggestion is start solving problems on the theories which you have studied. Take a syllabus of entrance exam of the university where you want to join. Also, if you are going to publish research paper, that will be beneficial. (Depend on the demand of the university you want to join).
