i want to publish a paper could you tell me an advice? im half way through my research.

I don't know your research is in which field. But i will tell you from my own experience that first you complete your research & get some result or conclusion which have some impact on your research field. After that explaination of every result is also equally important. If you get some result that have some impact & you explained it very well. These are demands of all famous journals. After all this Thesis is the big main part of all your research work. Thesis write it very well all the information that have put it in brief. Explain your research in good detail. Explain your result. Also check some other research i.e. related to your topic tells about what's new in your research work. After all this if your supervisior/professor pass your thesis. Then you can contact with some journals related to your research.
