  1. A GE 7FA gas turbine at Maine Independence Station operates with air flowing at 740 lbm/s. The air enters the gas turbine at 155psia and 2280°F and leaves at atmospheric pressure and 1150°F. Calculate the work output and the isentropic efficiency of this turbine. Assume the turbine is adiabatic.

Note: To calculate isentropic work, you need to calculate the temperature at the outlet of the turbine assuming adiabatic (isentropic). This will be different than the real turbine outlet temperature I gave you in the problem.
