Average = Sum of weights divided by number of persosn.
Add up all the weights of team 1 and divide it by 15 . Thus we get the average weight for team 1.
Similarly for team 2 we can find the average weight.
Average weight of team 1 = 140.86 pounds
Average weight of team 2 = 156.08 pounds
Average weight of team 2 is higher. difference = 15.22 pounds
It is significant. Beacause each person of team 2 weighs 15.22 pounds heavier than each person in team 1 . It is more than 10 percent the average weight of team 2. Also if one person of team 2 weighs 15.22 pounds heavier than one person of team 1 then the total difference in weight would also be very high (15.22 x 15 = 228.3 pounds)
