Hello Dear,

Conductors are those materials in which the valence band and the conduction band overlap.. that means the electrons which were in the valence band are no longer bound to the valence band only... as a consequence the atomic energy levels overlap.. so the valence electron of an atom is no longer bound to that particular atom and that electron can move to the valence cell of an another atom.. thus this electron becomes free to move one atom to other atoms.. and  it becomes the "free electron" which van move freely through the conductor.. there are huge number of such free electrons in conductor... so when the electrical voltage is applied to the conductor , these electrons move towards the positive potential...and constitute the electrical current in the conductor... so the answer is

(B) electrons..
