1. Rate of fusion in massive star is very high than small star and so massive star burns it fuel very quickly causing its life to be shorter than small stars.

2. Pulsar type of neutron stars. When a massive star completely burns out its fuel it goes a supernova explosion leaving behind a very dense Stellar body mostly of neutron which is called neutron star. Pulsar is also one of neutron star with very high magnetic field.

3. Massive star have capacity to fuse even heavier element whereas small mass star can fuse only hydrogen or helium.
