The albedo for open water is close to zero (no reflected light), while for ice covered with snow, it is almost one (all light is reflected). If we assume the melting of the ice caps decreases the Earth’s albedo from 0.3 to 0.15, what would the temperature change be due to this effect (use the naked planet model)? Is this an example of positive or negative feedback?
