Part 1: I need to design a circuit using only resistors and capacitors that will filter out a signal above a specific frequency. In order to be deemed a success, the peak voltage across your capacitor must be equal to 20% of the peak voltage provided by the function generator at the frequency f_theory. Full credit on this lab requires that your percent error in Part 2 is less than 5%. f theory = 1699Hz

Available values of resistance are 5, 10, 20, 30, and 39 ohms; available values of capacitance are 100, 150, 220, and 470uF.

1. Draw the circuit you have designed. Label all relevant values. You may use electronic drawing methods, or you may draw neatly by hand and insert a photo of your drawing.

2. Show all calculations you did in choosing your circuit values.

A common use of capacitors as a reactive component is in a low-pass or high-pass filter, both of which contain a resistor and a capacitor. A low-pass filter is one that passes through signals with frequencies lower than a particular cutoff frequency and causes attenuation in signals of higher frequency. A high-pass filter is one that passes through signals with frequencies higher than a certain cutoff and causes lower frequencies to attenuate, giving the two configurations their names. The cutoff...

Second order circuit as a band pass filter. 1. Consider a series RLC circuit of your choice with AC source. Find the resonance conditions (resonant frequency, quality factor cut-off frequencies and bandwidth. Simulate(multisim) the resonance condition by experimenting with AC signal of several different frequencies and comparing the output amplitudes. You need to show graphs of simulation with several different frequencies. Demonstrate that the simulation results confirm the calculated resonance effect. Make a band pass filter from circuit in (1)....

Design an active-RC low pass second order Butterworth filter for a cutoff frequency of 1 kHz, and a pass band gain of 2 V/V. Use a 741 Op Amp. If using Table I, use a capacitor value of 0.1 μF for C and C1, otherwise you may use any capacitors available in the lab. If applicable, make an excel worksheet showing the calculations required for the above design.  Choose appropriate real resistor values for the designed circuit and simulate this circuit...

SHOW STEPS CLEARLY PLEASE A client asks you to design an active high-pass filter. They specify a few needs: the gain should be 10, the corner frequency should be 2 kHz, and the gain roll-off rate should be 40 dB/decade. Unfortunately, you only have access to 4 resistors: 3 x 10-kΩ, and 1 x 100-kΩ. Design and draw a simple circuit that achieves the requested features keeping in mind the limited resistors available to you.Be sure to calculate all values of...
