Explain why do we need to do the Evaluation/Assessment. Please explain with all your supporting ideas to justify them.

Assessment is a key component of learning because it helps students learn. When students are able to see how they are doing in a class, they are able to determine whether or not they understand course material. Assessment can also help motivate students. Just as assessment helps students, assessment helps teachers also.
Assessment serves as an individual evaluation system, and as a way to compare performance across a spectrum and across populations. The purpose of assessment is to gather relevant information about student performance or progress, or to determine student interests to make judgments about their learning process.
