Same situation as in the previous two problems this time the magnet s mass is 4.95 kg and the magnetic force pulling it to the right is 160.9 N. The length of the cord is 1.38 m, and the ceiling is 3.32 m above the floor. Suppose that you cut the cord and the magnet falls to the floor while still being pulled to the right by the force of 160.9 N. How long will it take the magnet to hit the floor?

1a. OK, this is the last time for one of these crazy adventures. THIS time, though, there is a window in the floor, and you can see that you re in a rocket which has just taken off from the surface of an alien planet. By taking careful measurements out that window you determine that the rocket is accelerating upward at 7.12 m/s^2. When you drop a ball from a height of 2.40 m, it hits the floor 0.279 s...
