When Wilhelm Rontgen discovered X-rays in 1895 and the scientific community noticed that the human bone structure can be obtained when the body is imaged with x-rays, x-rays are commonly used in medicine. X-rays are part of the the electro-magnetic spectrum and are quite energetic. A high dose of radiation can subject the body to precarious mutations that can lead to adverse physical effects. In your opinion should x-rays be used in medicine therapy and analysis. Defend the argument.
X-Rays should continue to be used in medicine therapy and analysis. They are a cost effective way to tell, with almost maximum certainty, the presence, extent and type of damage or modification to a particular part of the body. The main risk in using X-rays is due to the high continued exposure to them. However, statistically, the vast majority of people only have a major X-ray once in their life time, and the cost and benefits of an X-ray outweight the cons.
