I know that 1 m^2 = 1 * (10^4) cm^2 = 10000 cm^2

So now why is 100 um^2 = 100 * (10^-8) cm^2 = 1 ucm

I think it should be 100 * 10^-6 * (10^4) cm^2 = 1 cm^2

Which one is the correct answer since everyone around is saying it is 100 * (10^-8) cm^2

Explain please

I know that 1:4 acetate; hexane eluting solvent is nonpolar. So what about the 1:2 acetate; hexane eluting solvent? Is it polar or non polar? When I used 1:4 acetate; hexane eluting solvent, I got that the starting material was more polar from the product because it has a smaller Rf value? If the eluting solvent changed from 1:4 acetate; hexane to 1:2 acetate; hexane, would the Rf values get larger? smaller? same? Explain why please

Coordination Compound Naming! I have 6 compounds to name. I named all 6, but please check my answer and if wrong, please explain why and how to do it. Thank you so much! 1. [Pt(NH3)4Cl2]SO4  - tetraamminedichloroplatinum (IV) sulfate 2. K3[Mo(CN)6F2] - potassium hexacyanodifluoromolybdenate (V) 3. K[Co(EDTA)] - potassium ethylenediaminetetraacetate cobaltate(III) Note: For the cobalt oxidations state, I calculated it to be +3 because EDTA has a charge of -4 and and K is +1. So, it needs to be +3...

A point charge is placed at a radial distance of 50 cm from a 2 m long, straight, uniformly positive charged wire of total charge of 8 microCoulomb. The charge is at equal distances from the two ends of the wire and experiences a force of 12 mN (milliNewton) pointing radially inward toward the wire. A) Draw a diagram and calculate the charge of the point charge (sign and value). Explain your model/assumptions for the problem. B) Explain how you...
