A ball is thrown in the air at an initial angle 35 degrees above the horizontal. It takes 4 seconds for the ball to hit the ground. What is the initial velocity?

Answer #1

angle = 35 degree , T= TIME OF FLIGHT= 4 S.

We know that,

                             T= 2usin (thetea)/g

                            4= 2 u* sin(35)/g

                            u= 4*g/2sin (35) , As g= 9.8 m/s^2

                       => u= 34.17 m/s
