Question

French press coffee maker, I usually heat up water in a pot on the stove. Let’s say that it usually takes 7 minutes for 2 cups of water that starts at 20 degrees Celsius to reach 95 degrees Celsius. Something that has happened before is I have walked away from the stove and then forgot about it for some amount of time. If I come back 25 minutes later (from when I turned the stove on), will there be any water left in the pot? If so, how much will be left?
