Question

gravity always pulls towards the center of the universe? true or false

gravity always pulls towards the center of the universe? true or false

Homework Answers

Answer #1

the above statement seems False.

it is evident that gravity force is responsible for pulling any object towards the center of any cosmic body.

like if we are on earth so we are attracted towards the center of the earth because of gravity, and  each planet in the solar system is attracted towards the the sun.

but since center of the universe is not yet known , and still considered a hypothetical fact., infinite and expanding universe has no center , so we cannot say where is the center of the universe or whether it has gravity or not.

so when nothing is specific and accurate how can we come to any conclusion about gravity always pulls towards the center of the universe.

hence the above statement is False.
