Answer #1

Atmoc structure- atomic structure of an element tells about the Constitution of it's nucleus and the election around nucleus. Nucleus consist of positively charged protons and neutral neutrons. Negativily changed electrons revolves around nucleus.

Atoms of different elements have different atomic c structure.

Radioactivity - an unstable atoms stablised by emitting radiations. It is called radioactivity decay. Unstable atom emits energy in the form of alpha, beta and gamma radiations. Which results in stable atom.

X ray- When high speed electrons collided with metals then energy of elections converted in to X-rays.

Madam Marie Curie mainly contributed to the radiological decay of atom. She had studied radiation in uranium and other atoms which emit radiations.

Question:   Scientists also use x-ray generators to produce x-rays used to study the structure of proteins and other biological molecules. Two types of anode materials are commonly used in this sort of experiment, and only the characteristic x-rays emitted ordinarily are used. For copper anodes, the characteristic radiation most frequently used is 8.0 keV, and for molybdenum anodes 17.4 keV is used. Aluminum (Z = 13) works well for shielding when the copper anode is used, but scientists must be...

Can someone explain these answers. Thank you! 31) You perform Compton scattering experiments with X-rays of a fixed wavelength. In one experiment you scatter the X-rays from free electrons. In the second experiment you scatter the X-rays from protons instead. For X-rays scattered under a given angle, the wavelength change A) will be larger for scattering from protons. B) will be the same for both cases. C) will be larger for scattering from electrons. D) depends on the actual wavelength...
