Please explain if these examples would be possible.

e. constant velocity, constant acceleration, and constant displacement

f. acceleration (vector) is non constant and constant (scalar) acceleration

g. non constant acceleration and constant non zero velocity

Answer #1

(e) constant velocity is when force is zero. Like when we project a projectile on ground than in horizontal direction there is not any force so it's horizontal velocity is constant.

When particle move under gravity than it has constant acceleration.

When particle is stationary than it will have constant displacement.

(f) centripetal acceleration is constant in scaler but is not constant in vector because it's direction is changing every time.

(g) in circular motion velocity is non zero and acceleration is non constant.

Does centripetal acceleration affect (i.e. change) radial velocity? Explain. A good example of this would be a tetherball wrapping around a pole. The tension force developed within the string causes the ball to have an angular acceleration. Also, the string wrapping around the pole give rise to radial velocity of the ball. But does this angular acceleration change the radial velocity of the ball in any way? Please Explain.
