Show that the rayleigh jeans law is not consistent with Wein's displacement law
As we know in Wein's displacement law at any temperature the spectrum of blackbody reaches its peak value it doesn't matter what the wavelength is. Whereas, Rayleigh-Jeans formula, there is no peak value of spectrum by black body i.e.the spectrum power is inversely proportional to wavelength, higher the wavelength less the spectrum power and vice versa this error is generally called as "ultra-violet catastrophe". that why we can say that rayleigh jeans law is not consistent with Wein's displacement law.
