Pressure and temperature measurement gives an insight into Celsius temperature that corresponds to absolute zero temperature. This is because degree Celsius refer to a specific temperature interval ,a difference between two temperature absolute zero and triple point of Vienna standard mean ocean water.

Now 0 degree Celsius is defined as the freezing point of water and 100 degree Celsius defined as boiling point, here pressure is one standard atmospheric pressure with mercury as working material .Thus using this temperature and pressure measurements absolute zero is given as -273.15degree Celsius since triple point of water is 0.01 degree Celsius, where water changes states depending on temperature and pressure
