I did a physics lab on magnetism and magnetic induction so my question is what can I say about the properties of the magnetic field and about changing magnetic flux?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

For electromagnetic induction experiment: change in magnetic field producers an electric field due to which EMF is induced inside the conductor.

According to faraday's law of electromagnetic induction whenever magnetic flux changes through a loop or any cross section then EMF is induced in the loop . Direction of induced EMF is in such a way that it opposes the the change in flux through the loop.

Magnitude of induced EMF is given by e= |∆Φ/∆t|

Where Φ is magnetic flux.

hi , i have a question that im confusing about NMR, so if i discover my substance along the line of CxHyOz then how do i know whether it is (CxHyOz)1 or (CxHyOz)2~x ? This is a post lab question for my organic chemistry 1 lab course and I just cannot seem to find the answer Our lab is preparation and observation of a temperature- dependent liquid crystal display. We melted cholesteryl pelargonate and cholesteryl oleyl carbonate together between two microscope slides and observed the blue/irridescence color that appeared. post lab question i need help with: if your liquid crystal mixture is iridescent at about 15 degrees Celcius, how would you change the method...

My physics class is working on Ohm's law and we did a lab about series and parallel circuits. While doing the lab report I got stuck on this question below. Please help! "For the same amount voltage, when do we have more current flowing from/to the voltage source? When resistors are connected in series or when they are connected in parallel?" This is my data: Part I Voltage (V) Current (A) Resistance (Ω) R = V/I % diff. 33 0.33A...

Hi, so I did a isolation of caffeine in tea lab. Purpose: The purpose of this lab was to isolate caffeine that is found in tea by using the technique of extracting, separating, and sublimation. One of my lab questions is- What were the limitations to meting your purpose? How could those limitations be minimized? There are 2 big limitations.

I did two wavelength vs absorbance graphs. one for copper and one for brass in my chem lab. I plotted them. The copper had a lambda max of about 680 nm. The brass at 380 nm. At middle wavelengths the two were about the same. The copper started to increase in absorbance over the brass at about 580 nm. By looking at this info why can I say that brass has other elements besides copper in it?
