Lorentz transformation works for all relativistic cases like special theory of relativity, relativistic electrodynamics etc . But it didn't work for classical limit . Because classical particles do not have relativistic velocity i.e velocity of classical particle is not comparable to speed of light in free space. Also, time is taken to be constant seen from all frame .
However, in the condition of v<<c the Lorentz transformation reduced to Galilean transformation and this works in classical mechanics. In relativistic case time also changes as seen from different frame.
