A volley ball is thrown up with a velocity of 10 m/s, from a third floor (15Meters above the ground) at angle of 45ᵒ from horizontal. The ball went up for a while and landed on the ground 15meter from the place of launch.

a)How high the ball rouse from the place of launch?

b)How long the ball took before hitting the ground?

c)How far away the ball will land from the building?

Detailed steps...i keep forgetting an important step but dont know which

NOTE: There are some typos in your question. How it can be possible that vertical distance (15m) is equal to the distance between launching and landing point (again 15 m). I am considering last line (on the ground 15meter from the place of launch ) as an error and then solving.

Horizontal and vertical speed are

(a) At highest point, vertical velocity becomes zero hence

(b) Time in which ball hit the ground will be t then

Ignoring -ve value, then ball will hit the ground in 2.614 seconds

(c) Horizontal distance will be
