Ans: In computerized lab instrumentation different instrument may be developed by using different software systems this is the main difficulty that arises using electronic and computerised insrumentation. So, one should aware of that.

However, each instrument share share several primary characteristics. The parameters that effect instrument control, data acquisition, and data analysis are typically combined into what is referred to as a method. Methods can b e used repeatedly by setting up a sequence.

A sequence tells the instrument to inject samplel X, evaluate it using Method Y, and store the data in File Z.

Computers can store the operating parameters in an instrumental method which can be used repeatedly to evaluate samples, thus assuring reproducibility.
