Answer #1

With the help of pencil we can draw a clock on the paper marking 9 to 12 hours at 90 degree then dividing the angle in three equal parts. First part is 10 o'clock. As we know the time we will use this paper as sundial by using pencil as vertical stick. The paper should be adjusted so that the shadow of pencil should fall on 10 o'clock mark. At the time the shadow is at 10. The 12 number marking will be the north direction. As the pin sundial is towards north.
