Which ones of the following are properties of charged and neutral weak interactions? more than one answer

1 They are transmitted by vector bosons which can interact among themselves.

2 They are transmitted by heavy vector bosons.

3 They do not conserve the combined symmetry CP.

4 They always conserve parity.

5 They do not always conserve flavor.

Answer #1

Answer-

1 They are transmitted by vector bosons which can interact among themselves.

2 They are transmitted by heavy vector bosons.

3.They do not conserve the combined symmetry CP.

5. They do not always conserve flavor.

Explanation-

W and Z bosons are is responsible of transmission of weak interaction. These bosons interact with themselves as they carry mass. These are heavy vector bosons. Weak interaction doesn't conserve pairty. The combination of C-symmetry (charge conjugation symmetry) and P-symmetry (parity symmetry) is not conserve for weak interaction. Flavour is also changes in weak interaction.

I will be glad to see comment if you have any query and thumb up if you are satisfied. Thanks...
