Among the advantages of quantum dots, is their low cost, low weight and versatile in nature. quantum dot cells have more durability than tradictional solar cells . They do not require high temperatures or special atmosphere to create energy and do not show any signs of degradation under normal conditions

The manufacturing process of quantum dot is easy and needs less energy than other types. The whole cell can be deposited at room temperature, without the need solution.
